About BCBD

Welcome to Bryson City Belly Dance's shiny website!

We are a small group of dancers in western North Carolina with several goals:

1. To have fun
2. To teach anyone who wants to learn about the ancient art of what is called in the western world Belly Dance and dispel myths about the dance
3. To inspire happiness and unity in those around us.

We do not pretend to be experts, but we'll share everything we know and we're learning more all the time. Part of what we love about Belly Dance is that there is always something more to learn and practice.
